Unable to deal with the untimely death of her parents due to a car accident. Sainika is driven into her own cocoon. Adopted by Prity and Raj, her aunt and uncle, she struggles to fill the void in her life. In spite of having borne a child herself, Prity is unsure of how to deal with a teenager. Sainika is so obscured in her own grief that she fails to understand Prity's attempt at trying to reach out to her, misunderstanding her intentions as trying to replace her dead mother.
