The new apache priced at 52k ex-showroom comes with black alloy wheels and a new design..
Apache comes with the same 150cc engine of F2 but with heavy modifications which besides making more power is also poised to be fuel efficient!!Apache makes 13.5 bhp of power at 8500 rpm.The bike will come with black alloy wheels as standard fitment ,electric start, monotube inverted rear gas shocks,240mm disc brakes. In technological front the bike now comes with I-DI (Inductive Digital ignition),IE Surge(Intake-Exhaust Surge) system which surely shows up in the road tests conducted by Overdrive. Hey dude,

The Apache is a very good bike, bought the bike on 22nd of March 2006. Almost done 550 kms on it, Its a real nice bike. I am getting a mileage of 54.2 kms per litre, the mileage will improve gradually after the run period so, i can expect something in the high 50's in Bangalore

One difference I can tell you is the mileage.. TVS bikes have always in favour of mileage. I'm sure the mileage will be more for Apache. Also if you see the maintenance factor - its again the TVS ahead of Bajaj.

Pulsar only plus point is the reputation it received among youngsters.
Apache is slightly lesser priced than pulsar.

Hi guys,

I have done 2800 kms on my apache. Its going great guns, every now and then popping a wheelie. I have been ripping the hell out of the bike but its still going great guns. Its giving me a mileage of 55 +-1 kmpl. I have touched 120 on the speedo thrice. I have fit the K&N performance air filters on my bike, its just flying even faster, i mean real fast. Be careful or u will bang the vehicle upfront. Any querries pls feel free to ask me at n.krishna.p@gmail.com
