Good Day

My name is Maurice Ryton and I reside in Canada. I am looking for some assistance in finding information on my Uncle also named Maurice Ryton.
My uncle was born and has lived his life in India but I have no idea if he is alive or not.

I have contacted many Indian Government sites but as yet not one reply to my inquiries.

My father is 92 years of age and would like to know if his brother is alive or deceased. I have promised him I will do my best to get an answer for him. Last year my wife and I were in Singapore where one of his brothers is buried in the Kranji War Cemetery. He had never seen the grave site so my wife and I made it a priority to get him pictures etc. etc.. Now I am left with this last task.

If anyone could offer me a contact point in India where I could get some direction or assistance to find a conclusion to my search it would be very much appreciated.
