Hi, I've working on C++ v3.0(Dos Version). And the problem I am facing is that suppose I've asked for a number(int type) to be input by a user and unmistakably or not the user enters a letter(char type), the program hangs or gives very strange outcomes. Is there any way to avoid this. Something like a code fragment or some functions available in the memory. Please know that I'm not a very advanced programmer, so post your reply adequately. Please reply soon.....

Example:
input a number="x" //user prompted and enters x

now the program gives undesired results.
