I know all about jagger but I find it odd that since we switched hosts our traffic has been in the tank. Can a web host cause this? It seems unlikely but there is a definite correlation between when we switched and our business declining.

Typically you should switch host in this way,

Create a new hosting account.
Move all the site contents.

UPDATE DNS in this stage to make new host active.

Keep contents of the site in old hosting account for few more days (till you dont find any entry in the logs)

Again, did you move the host to a totally different country? ie. from a US based host to UK based host?

what is your site? which keyword and region it was ranking? Give me more info.
